How QNS collects, uses, discloses, and protects information

Version 1.3 | Published: September 6, 2026 | Effective Date: September 6, 2026

Plain-language summary QNS uses information to respond to inquiries, design and coordinate technology services, administer customer relationships, communicate about projects, and operate partner programs. QNS does not sell personal information or mobile/SMS consent. QNS may use operational technologies to move or synchronize information among QNS-controlled assets and authorized operational service providers/partners, and may disclose information to suppliers, contractors, and referral partners only as described below and as reasonably necessary for the relationship.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices of QNS, Incorporated ("QNS," "we," "us," or "our") in connection with qnsnow.com, QNS online forms and partner-program experiences, scheduling tools, communications, customer and prospect interactions, and QNS technology design, sourcing, deployment, integration, and project-management activities.

This Policy does not replace the privacy terms of an independent carrier, internet service provider, managed-service provider, software provider, field-services contractor, equipment manufacturer, payment provider, or other third party whose services you use or contract for directly. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies and agreements.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with QNS, we may collect the following categories of information:

Contact and identity information. Name, business name, job title or role, email address, telephone number, mailing address, service address, and billing or remittance address.

Order and commercial information. Quotes, selections, service terms, order status, purchase-order information, shipping details, tax or exemption information, invoices, payment status, and other information needed to establish or administer a business transaction. QNS may request a federal tax ID or EIN when needed to establish or fulfill an order, but QNS does not need to collect it merely for ordinary website browsing.

Communications and files. Emails, text messages, call notes, meeting information, project communications, support requests, form responses, and files you or an authorized person provide to QNS.

Website, device, and security information. IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, requested pages, referring pages, security and diagnostic logs, and information stored through cookies, local storage, or similar technologies.

SMS consent and messaging information. Telephone number, consent status, consent method and source, date and time, the consent language shown or recorded, message history and delivery status, HELP/STOP or other preference requests, and records necessary to demonstrate and honor your communication choices.

Send requested or permitted communications, including transactional and service email, informational SMS where appropriately authorized, and occasional non-SMS relationship communications about relevant QNS capabilities, programs, or developments, subject to applicable preference and unsubscribe requirements; and maintain consent and suppression records.

Protect QNS, customers, partners, systems, and services against fraud, abuse, security threats, unauthorized access, and operational failures.

Comply with law, legal process, tax and accounting obligations, contractual requirements, and legitimate requests from regulators or law enforcement.

Improve QNS workflows, website experiences, documentation, and service delivery using aggregated, de-identified, or appropriately limited information where practical.

5. When We Disclose Information

QNS discloses information when reasonably necessary for a business purpose, to fulfill a request, to operate a partner relationship, or as permitted or required by law. The categories of recipients may include:

Service providers and suppliers. Carriers, internet providers, managed-service providers, technology providers, distributors, manufacturers, logistics providers, and similar organizations that help price, provision, deliver, operate, support, bill, or maintain requested products and services.

Field-services and deployment contractors. Low-voltage, cabling, installation, smart-hands, security, audio/visual, and other contractors that need site, contact, scope, schedule, or technical information to perform authorized work.

Business-process and technology service providers. Organizations that provide hosting, cloud infrastructure, CRM, communications, email, scheduling, document, shipping, payment, security, limited site measurement or analytics, integration, program administration, data synchronization, or other business systems and operational support on QNS’s behalf. QNS limits disclosures to information reasonably necessary for the applicable function and may transmit or synchronize that information among QNS-controlled websites/applications and those authorized providers.

Referral and strategic partners. When a customer relationship comes through a partner program or referral, QNS may provide appropriately limited information about the referral and engagement, as described below.

Professional advisers and authorities. Attorneys, accountants, insurers, auditors, regulators, courts, law enforcement, and other persons when reasonably necessary to protect rights, comply with law, or administer legitimate business obligations.

Business transactions. A successor or prospective successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.

6. Referral and Strategic Partner Updates

QNS works with organizations that may refer a customer, sponsor a program, or have a legitimate operational interest in whether a referred engagement is progressing. When appropriate to the program or referral relationship, QNS may provide limited status information such as:

Referral attribution and the customer or brand associated with the referral.

Whether QNS has established contact or whether customer action is needed.

A general opportunity, contracting, deployment, readiness, or completion stage.

High-level completion, activation, or readiness information relevant to the partner-supported program.

QNS does not treat a referral as blanket permission to disclose unrelated customer information. Unless separately authorized or reasonably necessary for the partner-supported service, QNS does not provide referral partners with detailed pricing, executed contracts, tax identifiers, payment credentials, passwords, call-detail records, detailed network configurations, confidential customer communications, or other sensitive information merely because the partner made the referral.

7. SMS and Mobile Consent

SMS consent is not transferable Mobile opt-in data and text-message consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or independent messaging. QNS may use communications providers and other service providers solely to transmit, administer, secure, or support QNS messages. A referral or service-delivery relationship does not give another organization the right to reuse QNS SMS consent.

QNS may document SMS permission obtained through a customer-initiated text, a verbal business conversation, written or electronic authorization, or another method permitted for the relevant message type. Providing a telephone number or submitting a QNS form does not, by itself, create recurring SMS consent. QNS may record the date, method, source, scope, and person who documented the authorization in its business systems.

QNS SMS practices are also governed by the QNS SMS Terms & Conditions, available at https://qnsnow.com/policies/sms-terms. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing QNS products or services. If a QNS-controlled form contains a communication notice at submission, that notice may authorize QNS to respond by email and telephone regarding the request and resulting engagement; it is not treated as recurring SMS consent unless the form expressly and lawfully establishes SMS authorization. You may opt out of SMS as described in the SMS Terms.

8. Cookies, Local Storage, and Online Tracking

QNS and providers supporting the website may use cookies, local storage, APIs, embedded services, device/session identifiers, or similar technologies for session management and security; maintaining drafts, preferences, or application state; basic site measurement; embedded scheduling or communications; and synchronizing information among QNS-controlled websites/applications and authorized CRM, communications, program-administration, referral-attribution, provisioning, or service-delivery systems. Some embedded third-party tools may collect information under their own privacy policies.

QNS does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by applicable California law. QNS does not display third-party advertising on qnsnow.com and does not use qnsnow.com information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Operational data may be transmitted or synchronized among QNS-controlled assets and authorized operational partners and service providers for the business purposes described in this Policy. Those flows do not authorize independent advertising or reuse of QNS SMS consent. QNS does not treat legacy browser “Do Not Track” as a separate preference because there is no universal technical standard and QNS does not operate behavioral-advertising tracking that it would disable. QNS honors legally valid opt-out preference signals when required by applicable law.

If QNS later introduces advertising pixels, cross-context behavioral tracking, or materially different non-essential tracking, QNS will update this Policy and implement legally required notice, consent, or opt-out controls before use.

9. Data Retention

QNS retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to administer a customer or partner relationship, to maintain project and transaction history, to support security and dispute resolution, and to satisfy legal, accounting, tax, contractual, warranty/support, consent-audit, and compliance obligations. Retention periods vary by record type, relationship status, and the systems involved. QNS may delete, de-identify, or archive information when it is no longer reasonably needed for those purposes.

QNS may retain a limited record of an SMS opt-out, do-not-contact request, or similar preference even after other information is deleted so that QNS can continue honoring that choice. QNS may also preserve immutable quote, configuration, order, communication, and audit records when necessary to understand what was submitted, approved, ordered, or communicated at a particular point in time.

10. Data Security

QNS uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the systems involved. These measures may include access controls, restricted administrative access, private storage, authentication controls, audit records, security monitoring, and the use of service providers and contractors subject to appropriate confidentiality, permitted-use, and security responsibilities. No internet transmission, electronic storage system, or security control can guarantee absolute security.

11. Your Choices and Requests

You may choose not to provide optional information, although QNS may be unable to complete a requested action if the information is necessary for that action.

You may unsubscribe from non-SMS email communications using an available unsubscribe method or by contacting QNS. Transactional or service communications may still be sent when necessary for an active relationship.

For SMS, reply STOP or use another reasonable method described in the SMS Terms to revoke consent. Reply HELP for support.

You may ask QNS to review, correct, or delete personal information associated with you. QNS may need to verify your identity or authority and may retain information where required or permitted by law, contract, security, or legitimate business-record obligations.

If a privacy law applicable to QNS and your information provides additional rights, QNS will honor those rights as required by that law.

12. Information About Other People

If you provide QNS with personal information about an employee, franchisee, site contact, contractor, customer representative, or another person, you represent that you are authorized to provide that information for the relevant business purpose and that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

13. Children

QNS provides business-to-business technology services and does not direct qnsnow.com or its services to children under 13. QNS does not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13 through the website.

14. Changes to This Policy

QNS may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, vendors, business practices, or services. The website will display the current version and publish/effective date. If a change materially affects how QNS uses or discloses previously collected personal information, QNS will provide notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law. Contact QNS.
